Need a new consequence for when your kids misbehave? Try a Job Jar.

A Job Jar is a jar filled with scraps of paper that say things like:

  • Clean the top of the refrigerator.

  • Organize the junk drawer.

  • Weed the flowerbeds.

  • Clean out the hall closet.

  • Dust all the baseboards.

  • Dust all the pictures.

  • Sweep front & back porch.

  • Dust all the blinds.

  • Mop the kitchen floor.

  • Clean all the toilets.

  • Clean the bathtub.

When one of your kids disobeys or is disrespectful, make them draw a chore out of the Job Jar and do it.
